China CNCA (Certification and Accreditation Administration) announced updates of the CCC Approval Scheme.
The new legislation has 2 impacts:
“No longer implement mandatory product certification management for some products “. Some products no longer need to obtain the China Compulsory Certification (CCC), which took effect on June 11th, 2018.
“Increase the self-declaration evaluation method for some products “. From October 1st, 2018, manufacturers will be able to decide to take either the current CCC approval process or the self-declaration with local test reports for certain products.
