Accelerating technology implementation – IP VERSION 6 in Israel

Recently, the demand for Internet addresses in the world has increased with the use of IoT applications – the Internet of things and the 5th generation revolution in the mobile world.
The addresses in the “old” communication protocol, IPv4, out of stock and worldwide are moving to the IPv6 protocol, which offers a greater number of addresses in line with the growing new demand with the introduction of new technologies such as 5th generation and Massive IoT.

In Israel are undergoing a revolution: Recently (3.7.2019), the Ministry of Communications must support ISPs in the new communication protocol IPv6 and the results begin to bear fruit – a decision on the issue 

The measurement is performed dynamically based on the use of Internet providers and is made by Akamai in neutral rating countries and major ISPs that use IPv6 protocol.

Israel is now in place 55 or so (depending on dynamic measurement):

The largest Israeli provider pioneer in the implementation of the Protocol was Xphone 018 , were the first to implement the new technology in its systems, which in November 2019 joined another large provider – Hot-Net .

Of the Israeli carriers that implemented IPV6 (traffic in the new protocol)
1. Internet grenade with about 84%
2. Hot-net with about 47.4%
3. Exponon 018 with about 47.2%
