China Quality Certification Centre (hereinafter referred to as CQC) notified on the revision of CQC21-020304-2011 “RoHS Certification Rules” and its enclosures.The CQC notes in the announcement that there are three main aspects that were revised within the certification rules:
1.Concerns the name of Chinese RoHS regulations.
2.Detection methods for the four phthalates and hexavalent chromium.
3.Made in order to bring the Chinese RoHS Certification Rules in compliance with the Commission Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863 of 31 March 2015 amending Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the list of restricted substances with regards to the stated transition period requirements. The CQC also specifies that this revision does not relate to the valid certificates.
