WPC modifies the Type Approval process for Wireless devices

India modifies the Type Approval process for Wireless devices.
The Wireless Planning and Coordination (WPC) wing of the Department of Telecommunications announced that Equipment Type Approval (ETA) process is to be modified to allow self-declaration of wireless equipment operating in license exempt bands with low transmission power.
