Keep Americans Connected Pledge:On March 13, FCC Chairman Ajit Pai called on broadband and telephone service providers to promote connectivity for Americans impacted by the disruptions caused by the coronavirus. In order to ensure that Americans do not lose their broadband or telephone connectivity as a result of these exceptional circumstances, he asked them to take the Keep Americans Connected Pledge.

FCC Facilities: The FCC does not allow visitors into its facilities, absent special permission from the Office of Managing Director. As the FCC has continued to assess the situation and the latest guidance from the CDC, federal, state, and local authorities, the agency has decided to take an additional proactive and precautionary for all FCC employees, unless they are authorized to access an FCC facility to perform critical, mission essential functions that cannot be performed remotely. We take these steps while continuing to conduct the regular and ongoing work of the FCC.
The FCC has also suspended until further notice non-critical FCC domestic and international travel. In addition, the Commission suspended until further notice any agency involvement in non-critical large gatherings.
