ECHA recommends for the European Commission to add seven substances to the Authorisation List- D4, D5, D6, Terphenyl, DCHP, Disodium octaborate and Benzene-1,2,4-tricarboxylic acid 1,2-anhydride.
Once on the list, companies will need to apply for authorisation to continue using them.
Under the REACH (SVHC) Regulation, once substances are listed in the Authorization List, applications for authorization need to be made within the latest application date that is specified in the “Authorization List” for the corresponding substance if the applicant wishes to use the substance without interruption after the sunset date.
