The Telecommunications Regulation Commission (TRC) of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan made amendments to Short-Range Device (SRD) License document at the end of September 2021. The SRD License is based on the Jordian Telecommunications Law No. 13 and ITU valid Regulations and Recommendations.
The License itself is provided for the use of radio frequencies allocated for short range devices that are indicated in the documents and meets the relevant technical requirements. The Document applies to the following categories of devices: Non-specific short-range devices (SRDs),Active medical implant devices, Assistive listening devices and more. The amendments concern wideband data transmission devices.
Thus, the documents specifies requirements for 5G Wireless access systems (WAS) including RLAN equipment, operating on the following frequency bands:
5150-5350 MHz
5470-5725 MHz
5925-6425 MHz
