The Eurasian Economic Commission published on September 8, 2021 a document which updates the list of standards that ensure compliance with the requirements of the EAEU technical regulation “On safety of machines and equipment”, when using on voluntary basis. In addition to that, also included is the list of standards for the rules and methods of research and measurements, including the rules of sampling required for the satisfying requirements of the EAEU technical regulations “On safety of machines and equipment” and conformity assessment of products.
The technical regulation itself sets forth the minimum requirements for the safety of machinery and equipment during their whole lifecycle. It is approved by the Decree No. 823 of 18.10.2011 of the Commission of the Customs Union that also contains initial lists of standards to EAEU TR 010/2011. Thus, the Decision revokes the Decision of the Customs Union 823 with regard to the lists of standards. The new Decision adds almost 300 standards to the list of standards that ensure the compliance with the requirements of the EAEU technical regulation “On safety of machines and equipment”
